LiquidProp is hiring a Web3 CTO/Founding Engineer
Compensation: $175k - $250k
Location: Remote or/and Chicago, IL

What We’re Looking For?
As a Founding Engineer at LiquidProp, you will play a pivotal role in our journey from MVP to production. We're seeking a dynamic, self-driven leader capable of steering the technical direction and execution of our trailblazing tokenized real-world asset platform. From making key architectural decisions and translating business requirements into technical specifications to recruiting and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, you'll have your hands on the steering wheel at every turn. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for solving complex problems, and harbor a passion for blockchain, crypto, DeFi, and real estate markets, we'd love to connect.
Responsibilities:
- Define technical roadmap and product architecture in collaboration with the founding team.
- Lead the platform's end-to-end development process.
- Uphold coding standards to write high-quality, scalable, and well-tested code.
- Contribute to framework, tool, and technology decisions.
- Incorporate best-in-class security methods to ensure system integrity.
- Optimize system design and performance.
- Recruit and manage a top-tier engineering team.
- Develop and maintain consumer-facing web applications.
- Integrate services across Web2 and Web3 APIs into our platform.
- Build out and maintain off-chain infrastructure.
- Drive user adoption through best-in-class product experiences.
- Review code internally, and mentor and guide team members.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in building modern, performant full-stack solutions using React and Typescript.
- 3+ years of experience in systems programming with languages like Rust, Solidity, Move.
- Proficiency in user-facing software and API frameworks (REST/gRPC/GraphQL).
- Deep understanding of web technologies and data-intensive app architectures.
- Experience with Redux, Node.js, HTML, CSS, SQL, Figma.
- Proficiency in Git, CI / CD tools, Docker, GCP or AWS.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest/Mocha/Cypress.
- Experience in delivering large greenfield projects.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for blockchain, DeFi, and Web3 technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think critically and independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for collaborative remote work.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of blockchain technology, particularly Solana.
- Experience or knowledge of traditional finance primitives and algorithmic trading.
- Proficiency in Rust, Go, Anchor, Solidity, or Move.
- Familiarity with the real estate and proptech industry.
- Previous leadership or founding role within a technical team.
Location:
- Preferred Hybrid On-site in Chicago, IL.
- Building out of the Chicago Solana Ecosystem Office - world-class office space, working with peer startups and access to Solana Foundation support on-site.
