About the Position As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will architect, develop & iterate on FreshCut's web-based platforms, focusing primarily on content creator tools. You will also have the opportunity to wear many hats, working on projects related to ML-based content recommendation, video engineering, and dApps. 

Responsibilities - Build out polished user experiences and applications using modern, component-based frameworks like React and Next.js - Build reusable components and libraries that will be used across FreshCut's web applications - Contribute to the FreshCut REST API and assist in deployment of various services - Act as a key stakeholder in product planning, roadmap review, and resource allocation

Requirements - 2+ years of software development experience across both backend and frontend technologies - Strong proficiency with React, Node.js, Javascript / Typescript, as well as CSS + HTML - Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS, Azure, or GCP - Experience launching web applications or features, preferably work shipped to thousands of users - High degree of accountability and sense of ownership - Self-starter mentality - must be able to effectively work independently and autonomously

Bonus Points - Experience with AWS video stack - Familiarity with Figma for design / asset handoff - Experience or interest in blockchain / decentralized technologies

Compensation - Competitive with top Series A funded startups with existing product and traction.

Location - HQ in Los Angeles, CA with flexible partial week WFH policy. - Remote OK with travel to HQ for team onsite visits.
