Caldera
$32k - $86k est.

We’re looking for an incredible Blockchain Researcher to help level up our brand and create a trusted hub for high-quality blockchain content.

As a Blockchain Researcher, you will play a crucial role in communicating our complex technical concepts, innovations, and solutions to various stakeholders, including developers, businesses, and the broader blockchain community. You will be responsible for creating engaging and informative written content that levels up our brand, while educating, informing, and inspiring our audience.

This role can be performed remotely or from our office in San Francisco.

About Caldera

Caldera enables dynamic, scalable blockchain experiences. Currently, dapps that are deployed to general-purpose blockchain compete with thousands of other applications for space on the network — this can lead to congestion and high fees or even network outages.

That’s where we come in. We’re building software that makes it easy for the most innovative blockchain applications to launch their own ultra-performant blockchains (rollups), enabling applications to own their ecosystem, scale to millions of users, and provide a superior user experience to their players.

We have a hybrid team — some teammates work primarily from our office in San Francisco, and others work remotely.

As a Researcher, you will…

  1. Produce high-quality technical content including blog posts, tweets, case studies, and other marketing materials that effectively communicate Caldera's value proposition, product features, and brand positioning.

  2. Conduct research on the modular ecosystem, L2s, and related topics to stay updated with the latest trends, narratives, and developments.

  3. Optimize content for SEO to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to Caldera's platforms. Ensure content is accurate, relevant, and accessible to our target audience.

  4. Contribute thought leadership content that positions Caldera as an authority in the Modular ecosystem and Rollup-as-a-Service space.

You might be a fit for this role if you check some of these boxes...

  • Have excellent English writing and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for accuracy.

  • Proven experience producing high-quality written pieces (blog posts, Twitter threads, etc) in the blockchain or startup tech industry.

  • Strong understanding of (and/or willingness to learn) concepts on blockchains, L2s, and the modular ecosystem.

  • Strong research skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and delightful content.

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.

  • Self-motivated and passionate about learning and working closely with others.

If in doubt, please apply! We will find a place for great candidates, even if you feel that you don’t check all of the boxes 😀

Strong preference will be given to candidates who can provide samples of prior work (in whatever form that may take: blog posts, articles, conference talks, podcasts, hackathon projects, etc..)
