About your team:
R3's Professional Services (PS) team works to bring Corda specialist expertise to our customers to make their adoption successful. They engage directly with our customers to design, build, deploy and advise them on their Corda journey to ensure long-term capabilities are sustained.

The Resource Management and Operations Office (RMO) sits within the larger PS team and is critical to its smooth running on a global scale. We are responsible for the effective planning and forecasting of the group, as well as influencing hiring decisions using data and understanding of resource profiles. We also provide the appropriate tooling, processes and forums to enable the team to thrive.
 
About your Internship:
During your internship, you will engage in weekly one-to-one sessions with your manager to discuss feedback and set goals for the upcoming week. Gain insights from leaders across the organisation, offering you a holistic view of how a pioneering tech start-up operates from Product to Sales. Showcase your work, learn from experienced team members, and make the most of the opportunities presented during your internship.

Key Responsibilities - Resource Management and Planning Duties (60%):

    • Work alongside and support the RMO in day-to-day activities including ad hoc tasks
    • Klient PSA data management:

    • o   Reviewing and updating the Klient allocation by connecting with Project Managers (PMs) / Delivery Managers (DMs) on a weekly basis
      o   Identify and address instances of under/over utilization of the PS team
      o   Allocate and adjust allocations as required to optimize resourcing i.e. skillset, timelines, margins, revenue and own individual aspirations

    • Prepare Weekly RMO Meeting Agenda / Updates in JIRA
    • Take ownership of managing the overall RMO Jira board to ensure all activities are closed out and progressed in a timely manner
    • Where appropriate, take ownership of small project deliveries relating to resourcing i.e. PS training activities and demand / capacity planning with support from PS’s Resource Manager & Partner Manager

Key Responsibilities - Operations Duties (40%):

    • Supporting the PS Operations Lead with Klient PSA administration and documentation
    • Responsible for timely submission of timesheets by team members
    • Take ownership of tracking CSAT % for PS and provide regular quarterly reporting to Senior Management
    • Ensure rolled out processes are adopted by the PS team with a view of improvement

Education & Experience:

    • Ideally a degree in project management, business management or a related field
    • Exposure to project management principles
    • Intellectual and analytical skills as well as system handling skills
    • Ability to display flexibility under changing priorities
    • Willingness to collaborate with the other R3 teams to achieve common objectives
    • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills at all levels
    • Capable user of Microsoft Office applications
    • Experience in Salesforce and Atlassian tools would be considered an advantage
