Web3 IT Systems Analyst

IT Business Systems Analyst (remote)

Bitcoin Depot is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst where primary responsibility is to be a liaison or coordination between business and IT. In this role you will gather and document business requirements, provide potential technical recommendations or solutions to business, develop systems documentation for development, review integration and work with third party vendors, help troubleshoot products and systems. In most cases IT Business Systems Analyst will become the subject matter expert for the projects or product they are involved in. Additionally, you will participate in product / project releases and help validate the product or project deliverables based on previously defined business requirements.

In this role the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience including but not limited to the following.

Essential Functions:

• Establish a good rapport with business to identify, gather business requirements, make recommendations
• Develop systems requirements definition, testing, implementation and support in projects are product assigned.
• Become subject matter expert on products and projects that are assigned.
• Develop process and data flows using templates or charting tools
• Review and help identify business, financial or systems risks.
• Assist in troubleshooting systems in development and in production.
• Collaborate with Project Managers , IT team and business.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working within an Agile software development environment as IT Business Systems Analyst
• Critical thinking ability
• Strong problem-solving capacity
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of data modelling and data visualization tools
• Excelled verbal and written communication skills.
• Project Management and working in Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience working in FinTech and or Cryptocurrency space

Position Technical Requirements:

• Experience working with Postman or similar tools for API testing
• Advanced knowledge of API’s and how they are used to integrate applications together.
• Knowledge of enterprise level application architecture.
• Understanding of common software coding languages: Python, JavaScript, or SQL
• Experience working in Cloud base technologies with preferred experience with AWS.
• Understanding and knowledge of microservices and docker containers.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in a discipline related to business, IT, or equivalent work experience.
