Web3 Partnerships Manager

As Optimism’s first Partnerships Manager, you’ll work to identify strategic partnership opportunities to drive Optimism adoption across the Ethereum ecosystem, helping win developer mindshare and drive usage.

What are the role responsibilities?

• Source, conduct due diligence, and execute high-value strategic partnerships with start-ups and projects in the Ethereum ecosystem that are considering developing on Optimism
• Work closely with Developer Advocates to ensure any technical issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Provide a strategic perspective to product and engineering teams, delivering critical business insights and launching initiatives that impact the market
• Define and lead new initiatives within the partnerships team to expand the reach of Optimism
• Communicate product updates to partners
• Work with product and help shape product strategy by collecting external feedback and relaying it to Product Manager counterparts

What skills do you bring?

• Experience in partnerships managing relationships with centralized exchanges, DeFi protocols, or NFT projects
• Strong passion and understanding of blockchain technologies
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to identify, pursue and close complex partnerships
• Experience in driving alignment from key internal stakeholders to support strategic decisions
• Ability to present and speak in public to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Previous work experience with a high-growth technology company
• Wide professional network and strong reputation among the Ethereum develop ecosystem
