Web3 Product Analyst

Seated in our Los Angeles based headquarters, Genies is looking to bring on our first Product Analyst to support our growing product and business teams. Reporting to our COO & Co-Founder, our ideal candidate has created and introduced data-driven insights and analytics that support a 0 to 1 product suite and a business/revenue model as it scales. You will lead critical cross-functional projects and partner with key product & business stakeholders to empower teams with data and insights to make informed decisions to improve growth, engagement, and retention of Genies rapidly growing user-base. As a key product and business collaborator, you’ll lead the efforts in identifying the right tools and features that allow our users to integrate intelligent capabilities into their avatar ecosystems for further utility. What You'll Be Doing

  • The role requires using a mix of skills including analysis, creative product ideation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Use data to understand trends in user behavior and product usage to influence strategy
  • Execute on projects by working closely with engineering, business, and other members of product teams to land impact on product goals, and to quantify the impact of existing features, future product changes, and marketing campaigns
  • Develop frameworks, models, tools, and processes to ensure that analytical insights can be incorporated into all key decision making
  • Help execute projects to drive insights that lead to customer, seller, and catalog growth.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns to develop a thorough understanding of Genies’ products, users, and acquisition channels
  • Identify the opportunities most important for growth to remove barriers for product adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization
  • Understand funnels, ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends in the adoption of our products to identity opportunities for step-changes and angle changes in growth
  • Establish shared vision across the company for growth product optimizations by building consensus on priorities leading to major product improvements
  • Optimize funnels to reduce friction and drive the best possible experience for users who are going through any product flows necessary to become users of our products and services
  • Run exploratory analysis to uncover new areas of opportunity, generate hypotheses, and quickly assess the potential upside of a given opportunity
  • Analyze, forecast, and build custom reports to make key performance indicators and insights available to the entire company
  • Monitor, optimize, and report on marketing and growth metrics and split-test results. Make recommendations based on analytics and test findings
  • Leverage consumer insights to uncover the expressed and unexpressed UX friction points
What You Should Have
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) with 4+ years (or PhD with 2+ years) of experience working within an analytical role
  • Experience using data querying languages (e.g. SQL) with intermediate functions such as case logic and joins to query large data sets
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability; the ability to answer unstructured business questions and work independently to drive projects to conclusion
  • Must be self-directed, organized and detail oriented as well as have the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Active team player, excellent communication skills, positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Experience with social media or UGC (User Generated Content) platforms and products is preferred
