About us
Re7 Capital is a London-based cryptoasset investment firm, utilising our deep crypto network and proprietary data infrastructure to drive investment decisions for a number of DeFi and alpha strategies. We also work with leading projects and blockchains to design their DeFi ecosystem, provide on-chain risk curation and vault management services through Re7 Labs. Re7 has a dynamic team with a strong background in investment management, data science and crypto.
To support the continued expansion of the firm, we are seeking a motivated DeFi Developer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology, you will take full ownership of our hedging bot, which ensures delta neutrality by managing deposits into AMM protocols and shorting equivalent long exposures on perpetual exchanges.
Responsibilities
- Assess and enhance the existing hedging infrastructure e.g. by developing a new bot from scratch.
- Maintain the hedging bot by integrating new connectors for interacting with various AMM protocols across EVM and non-EVM networks.
- Identify, debug, and test code issues to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Backtest strategies to analyze performance and adjust rebalancing thresholds based on market volatility.
- Develop and maintain a live reporting system to monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with one of the main smart contract languages eg Solidity or Move.
- Experience with algorithmic trading.
- Strong background in data analysis and backtesting trading strategies.
- Proficiency in SQL databases, GraphQL sources, and handling time-series data.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Rust.
- In-depth understanding of major DeFi AMMs(e.g., Curve, Uniswap V2/V3, Aerodrome).
- Familiarity with Linux environments and Git version control.
- A dynamic and collaborative work environment
- Opportunities for professional growth and development in a rapidly evolving and dynamic industry
- Remote-first set up with opportunities to meet with the team in person
- Competitive package
Application process
- Your resume.
- A cover letter detailing your interest in the role.
- Your response to the following challenge:
- Create a high-level logic description and workflow chart for a trading bot that hedges impermanent loss on a Uniswap V2 ETH/USDC pool using perpetuals on Binance. Include a backtest of your strategy.
