Blocktickets (https://blocktickets.xyz) is a no-fee blockchain ticketing company aiming to transform ticketing as we know it and create a fairer ticketing and event experience for all. Our product combines digital collectibles with tickets to control secondary market revenue, eliminate ticket fraud, and build community between event organizers, artists, and fans like never before. Our solution breaks open the barrier to entry for fans who are not crypto-native through utilization of traditional payment methods and making interacting with the blockchain so simple that fans, event organizers, and artists do not even realize they are doing it.
Our mission is simple: empower fans, event organizers, and artists, secure ticketing once and for all and eliminate scams through the power of blockchain technology, and introduce much-needed secondary market control to finally allow fair ticketing for fans.
Day-to-day, You Will Focus On
Pipeline Generation
- Research, identify, and generate weekly meetings with select target personas
- Qualify incoming leads for size, use case, and quality
- Conduct daily volumes of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, and social selling
- Organize, track, and prioritize potential leads and existing client renewals
- Partner with sales team members and founder to drive the day-to-day interactions that identify prospects for long-term business opportunities
- Articulate the key value proposition of the Blocktickets product and our services to the key venues and event organizers within reserved seating and general admission segments
Sales Enablement
- Create and manage sales and outbound campaign copy, product demonstrations, and sales decks for sales presentations
- Select appropriate outreach avenues (cold calls, email sequences, social networks) based on the prospect details including Persona, Account Size, and structure.
- Stay informed of trends and market data in target market segments in order to tailor outreach to prospects that will create opportunities.
- Provide feedback to Marketing on what assets and outreach are resonating and which are not in order to iterate on the resources available.
Sales Operations
- Input accurate data into Notion for tracking prospect interactions and information
- Keep team members informed by tracking and generating monthly sales pipeline and activity reports
- Support special projects as required
About You
- Self-starter who has no problem taking on and solving technical challenges individually
- Great communication skills to communicate daily via Slack and technical stand-up meetings with a remote team
- Genuinely passionate about sales and want to be part of Blocktickets’ future
- You can live anywhere in the world
Your Ideal Tech Stack And Background
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably working in live events or ticketing as a talent buyer, talent agent, or similar; customer service experience a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, and social skills; friendly and outgoing, not afraid to connect with new people
- Proven ability to execute on consultative sales methodology
- Firm understanding of how to identify target customers, evaluate buyer interest, recognize decision-making processes, handle objections, and close business
- Experience with Notion, Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, Slack, and Zoom
- Strong desire to work in an innovative and dynamic company
- Prior experience working in a startup environment
- Experience working with NFT’s and blockchain technology a major plus
- Experience working with ticketing a major plus
- We’re an English speaking team, so you must be able to fluently communicate in English
