Web3 Senior Communications Manager, Sports (Remote)

RECUR is building the future of digital collectibles on-chain, known as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) – the newest Unicorn industry.

Global brands are interested in venturing into NFTs to establish new connections with their fans. However, they are very careful about who they work with, especially in the cutting-edge world of blockchain. RECUR is founded by the perfect blend of leaders in the brand licensing space and technology leaders from top cryptocurrency exchanges, digital asset trading desks, financial institutions, and blockchain software companies. Investors include Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum, Winklevoss Twins, Courtside VC, Hashed, and many more.

We're looking for a Senior Communications Manager, Sports to join our marketing team as a key leader in internal, external communications and media relations.

What you'll do:

• Lead the proactive communications strategy that amplify RECUR’s messaging and build upon our reputation for innovation in the NFT space, helping build out the communications function as a key first team member.
• Develop product messaging, proactive pitches, presentations, and thought leadership narratives for internal and external communications.
• Be an ambassador for RECUR with top media and influential contacts who rely on you for timely and accurate information and creative story ideas about our products.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional partners (product, design, marketing, legal, and policy) on coordinated campaigns, events, and product launches.
• Drive narrative development around RECUR’s products and the ways they benefit our community at-large.
• Work on internal communications strategy with our People Ops team and the RECUR Sports Marketing Director
• Work with external PR and creative partners for media requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• 4-5 years of experience in a PR and/or media relations role
• Excellent relationships with reporters across entertainment and technology beats, including ability to shape and manage complex technology stories.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to build relationships cross-functionally and manage a wide variety of partners.
• An eloquent verbal communicator with superb written skills, fastidious attention to detail, and experience collaborating with executives.
• Deep passion for NFTs and blockchain

This is a completely remote role and can work anywhere in the US.
