Coinbase is looking for a mission-focused individual to lead the Growth and Product Enablement team, and play a critical role in product ideation and development and scaling the Treasury Organization. This role reports to the VP of Treasury. The candidate will work closely with key business leaders and Finance partners to drive operational excellence in product design around money movements. Candidate will also partner with other Treasury Leaders to catapult innovation and inspire new standards for cash and digital asset management within Crypto and Web3.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Build an exceptionally high-performing, collaborative-minded, and execution-focused team that will represent Treasury for new product launches, M&A execution & integration, and internal & external relationship management.
- Invest time with key Business & Functional leaders and understand core business needs & objectives to anticipate where Treasury can best support.
- Partner across Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Sales, and Finance to support launch of new products and initiatives, advising on product structuring, operationalizing product cash or crypto movements, and where needed updating Treasury infrastructure in support of the same.
- Lead Bank Strategy and Bank Relationship Management to support multiple internal stakeholders that have relationships and/or touchpoints with Banks Company-wide.
- Design, create, and execute Treasury Strategy, working in close collaboration with other Treasury Leads to scale operations while maintaining rock solid foundation.
- Obsess over identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies through never-done-before creative solutions.
- Own reporting of Treasury operational, risk, and return metrics.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 15+ years in Treasury Operations, corporate finance, and balance sheet risk management.
- Strong track-record of building and managing high performing teams.
- Solid relationship management skills and ability to easily connect with people at all levels.
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize multiple ambiguous deadlines and projects in a fast moving environment.
- Known for being a creative problem solver with the attitude that there is no problem that cannot be solved, fixed, or mitigated.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with solid track record of managing related requirements and risks.
- Ability to process complex issues, clearly and concisely communicate them, and turn them into simple recommendations with transparency around key considerations and tradeoffs.
