Senior Golang Developer (web3)

We are seeking experienced Go developers to join our web3 platform team working for our Canadian customer Horizon Blockchain Games, a startup that raised $40 million in 2022.

You will join Sequence platform team. Sequence is a leading development platform for web3 games, trusted by Google Cloud and many game developer studios. Think of it as AWS for blockchain. Sequence provides embeddable web3 wallets, highly available Ethereum nodes serving tens of thousands of requests per minute, blockchain indexers processing TB of data, and also NFT marketplaces.

We are looking for candidates with 3+ years experience in Go, backend development, PostgreSQL, Git version control and Linux. Our ideal candidate writes clean code and prioritizes readability and long-term maintainability over unnecessary complexity or "magic".

Note: You'll get extra points if you have worked with blockchain technology or Ethereum before.

You will be using and actively contributing to many Open-Source projects, including:

• github.com/webrpc/webrpc, an alternative to gRPC for web applications.
• github.com/go-chi/chi, one of the most popular HTTP routers in Go
• github.com/pressly/goose, the DB migration tool.
• A suite of HTTP middlewares and tools for caching, HTTP rate limiting, tracing etc. See https://github.com/go-chi and https://github.com/goware
• github.com/0xsequence/ethkit, a set of tools for Ethereum in Go
