Web3 Smart Contract Engineer

[DIMO] provides a turnkey solution for electric vehicle owners and operators to collect, use, and monetize the data their cars generate. We're looking to transform the multi-billion dollar vehicle data and connected car market by building on Web3, decentralized principles.

You'll be building a next-generation Web3 product on a modern, open tech stack that is going to directly impact the Transportation IoT market..

What you will be doing:

• Lead the technical, organizational and knowledge management strategies related to all things smart contracts at DIMO
• Write reusable code and libraries for DIMO platform and open source community
• Developing NFT token specifications for complex, signed data using DIDs.
• Fine tuning contracts for gas cost and security.
• Bridge the gap between token specification and technical implementation
• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• Work closely with the leadership team on the product direction

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Passion about what decentralization technology can offer to humanity
• Insatiable curiosity of the industry; self-motivated to pursue researching every new idea that floats across the industry
• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Experience in SolidityGolang/Rust and writing performant, memory efficient code
• Ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively, with the team and internal/external organizations.
• Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git,
• Experience in agile software development

Must have:

• 1 year experience creating smart contracts on an EVM compatible chain
• 4+ years experience of traditional web2 software engineering experience
