Technical Lead Software Engineer - Blockchain

As a software engineer at Coiin, you will architect, design, and build the Coiin Blockchain ecosystem. You will span technologies from cloud to blockchain and everything in between. You will look outward as well as inward, aligning our executive team and product strategy with changes in technology, and help us create an innovative culture. What you are going to be doing:

Articulate a long term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling our blockchain, web, and mobile platform.

Create new innovative Web3 products and easy to comprehend, performant and reliable systems using modern tools like React, React Native, Typescript, Flutter, Node, Golang, and REST.

Review all feature designs within your product area and across the company for cross-cutting projects.

Be an owner of the security, safety, scale, operational integrity, and architectural clarity of these designs.

Debugging extremely difficult technical problems, and making systems and products both work better and are easier to deploy, own, operate and diagnose.

What we are looking for:

You have at least 10+ years of experience in software engineering and at least 8+ years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.

You're familiar with and/or developed and shipped blockchain applications to large amounts of users and stakeholders.

You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability.

You’re familiar with product and design life cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.

You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.

Have experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a bias toward open, transparent cultural practices.

Excellent skills of mentoring, maturity, dealing with conflict and communication - not just within the team but also across the product group and/or all of engineering.
