Introduction
We are an up-and-coming truly trustless optionality protocol that plans to solve the problems of ponzinomic yield, oracles, and capital inefficiency in DeFi options once and for all.
Our protocol aims to satisfy various risk appetites of spot, options, and derivatives traders while leveraging the attractiveness of DeFi’s yield farming to users, who for example can earn yield while waiting on their BTC limit orders to fill, among other functionality.
We are currently on alpha testing and plan to launch on the Ethereum mainnet this quarter.
The Position
As a full-time marketing specialist working closely within an engaging and innovative DeFi protocol, you will be working within the in-house Product Management Office (PMO) and directly under the leadership of the Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to execute a synchronized marketing program across multiple channels and multiple timezones. Right in the middle of a dynamic Web3/Blockchain landscape, you will work to plan, build, and manage high-caliber marketing campaigns that drive awareness, acquisition, activation, revenue, retention, and referral.
You’ll need to have experience in B2C, B2B, or B2B2C marketing and take an analytical approach to test, measure, and scale campaigns across multiple products within a product line. This role will engage in content and visual collateral design, social media, and community marketing in support of ongoing operations, core releases, and growth efforts. Moreover, this role involves hands-on coordination of product marketing efforts across the product line through the development and operational management of marketing collateral across multiple products and timezones.
Some of the challenges you will be expected to tackle include, but are not limited to:
- Together with the PMM, designing marketing strategies and campaigns that cater mainly to a Web3/Crypto audience
- Tracking relevant marketing metrics based on analytics, setting and monitoring KPIs, and ensuring analytics dashboards are available and accurate to support both product marketing and product strategy efforts
- Ensuring that our different products and their channels (i.e. the web app) have sufficient collateral and coverage across marketing channels and that such collateral is branded, consistent, and accurate at all times
- Growing and managing the community surrounding our protocol through direct engagement, ongoing support, and implementation of planned campaigns and programs
- Contributing to content calendars via the production of insightful and potentially viral content, such as memes, articles, videos, infographics, and other thoughtful content
- Supporting marketing operations by conducting high-standard market research and analysis and keeping an up-to-date knowledge base, as well as constantly monitoring market behaviour and industry trends
This is a remote position: with the main office being located in Hong Kong, China. The ideal candidate will be expected to sync-up with Hong Kong once daily during Hong Kong office hours and to commit to working a full-time schedule which will include a minimum of 8 on-duty hours per workday where compliance with minimum response times is required. To increase coverage with Hong Kong, we are looking for candidates in the Americas (normally based within UTC-9 to UTC-3). This is a full-time permanent position and overtime may be required from time to time therefore holding another role in another organisation simultanously is incompatible with this role. Our Organisation uses a follow-the-sun model for global service so the ideal candidate is expected to work a full, normal, daylight shift that follows office hours in their country of residence.

- eithera Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field; or a commensurate level of seniority and work experience at a high-performance organisational level
- 3+ years of marketing and/or advertising experience, with 1+ years in Web3 / blockchain marketing
- Experience with marketing on commonly used Web3/Defi platforms like Twitter, Discord
- Fluent command of the English language (both oral and written)
- Knowledge and keen interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain protocols
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Independent and capable at working within an organization on a remote basis
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
- A keen understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem
- A keen understanding of DeFi primitives and protocols in areas such as decentralised market-making, borrowing and lending, and asset management (e.g. Uniswap, Aave, Yearn, etc)
- A demonstrable commitment to being a key contributor and team player
Preferred / Non-Required QualificationsPlease specify which of these, if any, you satisfy
- Prior experience in marketing teams at DeFi or CeDeFi apps, particularly those working with options and/or option vaults; experience in developing NFTs is also desirable, particularly in financial use cases
- Prior experience working in a Growth or Growth-oriented team (i.e. under the oversight of a Growth PM / Growth Hacker / Growth-oriented PMM) in either setting Growth Analytics or conducting evidence-based Experiements and/or campaigns that increase increased or optimised conversions anywhere along the customer journey
- Knowledgeable about the workings of financial market derivatives, such as the difference between: calls, puts, straddles, different types of bonds, swaps, CFDs, CDSs, options, futures, etc
- Experience working in Agile organizations and teams, particularly using Scrum as a framework and DevOps as a culture
- Professional working proficiency (both oral and written) or above in either Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, or Portuguese
