Web3 Community Manager

We are searching for a web3 Community Manager to launch and manage our first Bessemer Venture Partners web3 community on Discord.

In this role, you’ll be working to grow and engage the BessemerDAO community on Discord, Twitter, and Telegram. The Community Manager will work closely with the Investment, Platform and Marketing team to coordinate programming, events, and conversations that attract community members who are interested and engaged in the BessemerDAO ecosystem.

As the web3 Community Manager, you will own our BessemerDAO community from start to finish. You will work closely with our Head of Community to design strategy, incentives and community experience. You will launch our platform on Discord, and will manage the day to day nurturing, engagement and governance of BessemerDAO. You will track and report on key KPIs, and map out our token strategy and incentives plan.

In this role, you will

• Work closely with the Investment, Platform, and Community teams to develop the strategy and infrastructure to successfully build and nurture the BessemerDAO community.
• Source and onboard new community members
• Design our token and incentives strategy
• Develop and enforce our code of conduct and governance protocols
• Develop relevant content to engage our BessemerDAO community
• Track and report on key KPIs

This role is a project-based engagement to start and can be done in conjunction with other DAO work across the firm. Compensation can be arranged in either FIAT or ETH. We’re a distributed team and our Web3 Community Manager can be based anywhere across a GMT, EST or PST timezone.

The ideal candidate for this position is creative, a self starter and hungry to sink their teeth into web3 community building. This role is best suited for an individual who has an understanding of web3 culture, and is eager to partner with a leading investor - forging a new path into funding web3 businesses.
