YOUR PURPOSE

As the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for attracting, developing, motivating and retaining the team at Coin Metrics. You will report to the CEO and will act as the architect for the company’s talent strategy. You will be championing the company culture and supporting the company’s executives and team leaders during a phase of rapid growth.

YOUR VALUE

  • Thinking strategically about employee recruiting and retention, including strategic workforce locations
  • Building and leading the company’s broader HR functions (e.g., talent acquisition, people operations, performance management, professional development)
  • Developing and implementing the compensation strategy
  • Reviewing and improving performance management approaches
  • Designing career pathways
  • Conducting executive coaching and leadership training
  • Leading benefits and retirement plan program administration on a global basis
  • Optimizing the use of people analytics to manage talent
  • Handling executive searches
  • Helping to create organizational design

YOUR EXPERTISE & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree is required; an advanced degree with a focus on HR is prefered
  • Knowledge of employment laws (domestic required and international is preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of HR best practices and industry standards
  • 10+ years of experience in HR jobs of increasing responsibility; demonstrated experience managing most HR functional areas
  • Experience leading HR in a hyper growth environment, preferably at a start-up, ideally Series B or later stage
  • Familiarity with international hiring, employee relations and Visa application/processing
  • Interest in crypto assets
  • Understanding of data and/or exchange businesses
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a time pressured environment
  • Willingness to tackle the challenges of a young company
  • Ability to drive issues to their conclusion in an effective and timely manner
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification (nice to have)
