Web3 technology and economies have the potential to disrupt traditional markets dominated by gate-keepers, data silos, and lack of consumer ownership, interoperability, and transparency. Power and influence continues to be consolidated amongst fewer large companies at the expense of consumers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. We aim to change that. The Problem: Retail Loyalty is Broken Consumers are being betrayed by businesses, causing loyalty preferences to change rapidly. Businesses have been taking consumer loyalty for granted, giving them pennies back to their dollar, and further diluting the value of these programs. As a result, consumers’ preferences are shifting towards more tangible rewards for their loyalty, such as cashback. Direct acquisition platforms (affiliate programs, etc.) have since surged in popularity; further boosted by the changing AdTech space. We will enhance consumer value by pairing web3 token liquidity and incentives with a proven Web2 affiliate model. Our platform enables Web3 businesses to attract and retain users who are genuinely engaged rather than solely profit-driven while providing real world utility for their assets. Over time, we will evolve into a leading acquisition engine for both Web2 and Web3 brands, offering tailored retention services such as bespoke Web3 loyalty management. Responsibilities In this role, you will:
Define the Future of Loyalty: Combine the benefits of Web2 and Web3 to solve for user acquisition and retention in the wake of growing AdTech challenges & costs
Make Loyalty Great Again: Apply the benefits of Web3 to Web2 affiliate marketing to bring transparency, interoperability, ownership and value to consumer loyalty
Partnerships: Nurture and grow a collection of Web2 affiliates, Web3 communities, and strategic partnerships to power an innovative loyalty and rewards marketplace
Additionally, you will:
Manage a multi-cohort team of Venture Architects, Technologists, Engineers, and Product/Design, leveraging domain expertise to ideate on concepts.
Take ownership of all functions necessary to launch a new venture, including product development, go-to-market strategies, and operational execution.
Validate the feasibility, viability, and desirability of a new venture, including hypothesis testing, business model validation, and partner engagement, leading to the launch of a seeded venture if validated.
Own recruiting, prototype development, go-to-market planning, and future fundraising.
Mentor team members and encourage a culture of collective ownership.
Attributes We are seeking exceptional leaders with the ability to build businesses that could change the world at scale. Ideal candidates will have:
Proven ability to lead and build ventures, specifically in consumer retail and ecommerce
Domain knowledge and experience in loyalty, rewards, or cashback programs
Expertise in Web3 technologies and relationships with Web3 communities
Former CEO or founding experience with 0-1 and 1-10 stage companies.
Strong critical thinking, implementation, and communication skills.
Strong team-building and teamwork capabilities.
An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to create an entrepreneurial environment.
