Our newly formed data team is here to build up and serve a best in class data platform to the whole company. This is a greenfield project so you will be able to play your part in key decisions and our strategy from the outset.

What you’ll do 👀

• Deliver real impact to MoonPay’s mission by taking complex business problems and helping solve them through data-driven solutions
• Build, test and deploy models to solve business challenges around fraud, compliance, customer lifetime value, customer churn
• Contribute to designing our data science platform for model training and experimentation
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and scientists to improve our overall data ecosystem and enforce best practices across the team and department

As a Senior you will be expected to:

• Mentor and coach other members of the team
• Contribute to our overall approach and standards within the Data team

You should apply if: ✅

• You have excellent SQL skills
• You have experience working with Python
• You have a deep understanding of fundamentals of statistics and probability, including experience in conducting large scale A/B tests
• You have a proven track record of building, deploying and maintaining machine learning models in a production setting
• You have the ability to clearly communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences
• You have either had experience with some of our tech stack or are confident you can cross train and up skill quickly
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken
• You have a self-starter, curious mindset and you proactively identify opportunities which lead to a real impact on the company

Bonus points if:

• You have previous experience working in fintech
• You have knowledge of cryptocurrency

Our interview process takes place on Zoom and tends to consist of the following stages:

• Initial screen (30-45 minutes)
• Remote take-home task
• Final interview (2 hours)
