Furthermore, we are working closely with the production engineering team and support all other company departments and functions. You will join the Security and Infrastructure chapter which works closely with all company departments.

Your mission

• Develop secure coding & secure design principles
• Train developers, architects, code reviewers, and others on secure coding practices
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for Application Security, providing guidance to Engineering and Product teams
• Design and implement SDLC practices including code reviews, static/dynamic code analysis and vulnerability assessments
• Constantly maintain awareness of all known vulnerabilities in application technologies used within Nuri
• Research any reported or suspected application vulnerabilities
• Assist in developing security-related libraries used in our environment

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience
• Experience in threat modelling and technical design review
• Working knowledge of AWS
• You understand OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and are able to explain them in detail
• Theoretical knowledge of cryptographic standards, including digital signature and PKI, and potential security issues in the implementation and use of standard cryptographic libraries.
• Good understanding of encryption standards and protocols, such as public and private cryptographic systems, digital signatures, HMAC
• Expert level understanding of modern web technologies, mobile, and web application security
• Prior experience of performing SAST and DAST
• Experience in scripting is a plus

What we are also looking for:

• Significant experience as a Penetration Tester or as an Application Security Engineer
• Prior experience securing large-scale web applications, including performing security code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and manual testing for logic flaws
• Working towards or obtained recognised certifications reflecting your skills, such as OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, etc. (This would be great to have but not essential).
• Ability to communicate effectively with the stakeholders to bring issues forward from discovery to resolution
