As Translations Manager, you will:

• Train, manage, and hire a team of top-quality translators to translate content into several languages.
• Manage translations of new content and content updates.
• Translate content into your target language (LATAM Spanish).
• Ensure translation quality and messaging consistency across languages.
• Partner with the Content, Web, and Community teams to distribute and maintain content.
• Develop and oversee the creation and maintenance of translation guides, references, quality standards, and processes for all languages.
• Develop content guidelines and ensure their adherence.
• Develop a sophisticated knowledge of Substrate, Polkadot, Kusama, and other relevant products and technologies, and relay that expertise to the translators.
• Cultivate a strong understanding of Parity’s international stakeholders and use that knowledge to improve translations.
• Manage Translators’ learning experience and ensure they understand the content they are translating as well as the stakeholders they are translating for.
• Monitor web presences and products to identify gaps in translated content.
• Partner with various product teams to manage the translation and maintenance of user interfaces.
• Work with the Marcomms, Community, Ecosystem, and teams to ensure they have the translated content they need.

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in software localization, translation, and quality assurance.
• 3+ years’ experience leading a team of translators.
• Native fluency in LATAM Spanish.
• English fluency.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, conscientious, and responsible work >
• Ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects to completion.
• Experience working with translation distribution software.
• Interest in blockchain technology.
• Working from a European time zone.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience translating blockchain or tech content.
• Software development familiarity.
