Third-Party Application Specialist

The role is with one of the top 3 Global Proprietary trading companies worldwide, trading across a wide variety of asset classes, including Options, Futures, FICC, Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Crypto and defi. Since being founded in the mid-90s, the business has gone from strength to strength by hiring the most ambitious and innovative talent in the market, allowing them to trade over 30+ Billion AUM trades annually.

They are now looking to hire a Third-Party Application Specialist whose role will be to provide application solutions for new trading opportunities. This will be done by understanding the features and functionality of external vendor platforms and comparing them to internal functions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an up-to-date catalog of 3rd party platfroms.
• Maintain communication with 3rd parties.
• Provide analysis to the business, regarding any new options to support trading opportunities.
• Track all internal usage of 3rd party platforms, keeping track of asset class and feature set.
• Provide any platform demos to potential users.
• Review usage of 3rd party platforms.

Requirements:

• Have a knowledge of the trading industry, particularly an understanding of a variety of asset classes.
• Experience translating front office requests into technical requirements.
• Proven history with 3rd party relationship management,
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of execution, market data and risk management terminology and concepts.
