THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Product Direction. Business Expert. Customer Evangelist.

We’re looking for a product management intern to join our team for the summer as we rapidly expand our product capabilities. You’ll own a new feature rollout, broadening our capabilities and further strengthening our product positioning.

What you'll be doing.

• You’ll work with the product team, our co-founder, and other members of the executive team to help define the product strategy.
• You’ll represent the product across the organization; be a steward of the business and a champion of the customer.
• You’ll proactively meet and interact with customers and listen in on calls with prospects to uncover problems, identify unmet needs, and validate potential solutions.
• Persuasively present product direction to earn team buy-in with stories, customer profiles, and quantitative insights
• You’ll lead the planning, development, and launch of a product feature, including:
  • Pricing and business model experiments
  • Define and analyze metrics to guide product development and product success
  • Assist sales, marketing, customer support teams as the product expert you'll lead the planning, development, and launch of a product feature, including:
  • Partner with marketing to prepare for bringing the feature to our current customer base and the untapped market

Talent comes from a variety of backgrounds. We aren’t rigid. However, the person we’re looking for may have a resume something like this:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree or graduate degree in computer science or data science
• You’re an active user of cryptocurrency / blockchain-based products and nothing excites you more than having a chance to bring those products into the world.
• You’re an exceptional verbal and written communicator
• You’re well-versed and finely tuned in the careful negotiation process between engineering teams and business demands
• You thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace ambiguity and adapt quickly to changes
• You are scrappy and resourceful with minimal to no guidance
• You can think on your feet, but with enough humility to ask questions
• You live by the mission of a more scalable, programmatic, and decentralized vision of the future of finance.
• You’re entrepreneurial: you’ve seriously considered starting or have previously founded a business before (childhood lemonade stand, undergrad side hustle, full-fledged startup, etc.)
