Role Context

Join an existing team operating in stealth and innovating in the staking sector with support & investment from Metamatic Group. This role is a fit for someone who is defi native with strong communication and business development skills looking to join a fast-moving startup at the early stages. This is an operating role at a startup we are incubating.


Responsibilities

·Business Development: TVL - Initiate and manage relationships with defi ecosystem participants to secure liquidity and TVL for the protocol.

·Business Development: Partnerships – Develop partnership strategy and prioritization across multiple areas including other defi protocols, web2/tradfi, exchanges & market makers. Conduct outreach and close relevant deals.

·Operations – Manage various operational projects, workstreams, and capabilities as the team scales.

·Business Development: Fundraising – Manage process/project of raising raise follow-on funding from strategic angels and VC's (with support/guidance and some existing relationships)


Qualifications

Experience

·Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

·Full-time experience investing in defi or working an operating role at a DEFI startup

·Experience in business development/partnerships and/or raising capital from VC’s

·Bonus: Technical major and/or technical/product experience such that you can direct/steer teams building product in DEFI


Characteristics

·Crypto native. Passion for defi, liquid staking and RWA

·Highly organized with attention to detail

·Fluid and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-moving startup environment

Skills

·In depth understanding of defi and ability to innovate

·Communication: Strong materials development (PPT, written materials)

·Communication: Verbal

·Project management and budget/financial management


Compensation
