Are you a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager who is looking to own the following?
Role & responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including management reporting, rolling monthly forecast reports, trends & variance analysis.
- Regularly analyze revenue metrics for various business units.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ad hoc support for other projects as required.
Core competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Possess In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- 6+ years working within finance (FP&A or management accounting), preferably within the cryptocurrency or fintech start-ups
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently or as part of a team.
- Exhibit a dynamic and bright personality.
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Show strong attention to detail, logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
- Be System-savvy with proficiency in spreadsheet and data software applications.
Nice to have
- Recognizable accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.)
- Experienced in automation of workflow processes and has a strong understanding of data structure, with proficiency in using Macro, VBA & SQL, Redash, Amplitude and other data tools.
- Possesses experience in Quickbook and Oracle Netsuite.
- Demonstrate skills at developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Good knowledge of blockchain data and in-depth knowledge of the crypto industry.
