Team Summary:

Visa's Growth Products Team is responsible for developing and executing strategies for new payment technologies like crypto, Wallets and AI, creating strategies that define Visa's participation in the ecosystem, and developing, launching and scaling the capabilities required to capture those opportunities. Working closely with Visa’s Product and Solutions teams and other teams to identify and pursue opportunities to deliver value propositions that integrate growth products into Visa’s core products and solutions. The team is focused on positioning Visa as a leader in the cryptocurrency and AI space, enhancing payment experiences and expanding access to digital currencies, AI and digital wallets.

The role is based in the Korea Market and will report to the Head of Products Korea / Head of Digital Currencies, Asia Pacific. 

What a Director – Growth Product Partnerships and GTM does at Visa:

•    To take the lead in Creating and growing new revenue streams for Visa through current and upcoming crypto, AI and wallet payment products (Visa Pay)
•    Accountable in Building new innovative partnerships with key Visa’s Asia Pacific partners including banks, FinTech's, AI Platforms, merchants, central banks, and blockchain network ecosystem participants that align with Visa's 2030 strategy and local market needs. 
•    Drive and manage Visa’s Crypto, Visa Pay and AI partnerships pipeline from prospecting, engagement, qualification to deal structuring and signing in the market
•    Managing key Crypto, Visa Pay and AI clients in the market
•    Be a thought leader in the industry, influence and provide education to cross-functional teams and leadership
•    Expand innovative POC’s, Pilots and partnerships with key clients. Scaling emerging growth product lines from initial proof of concept to go-to-market execution 
•    Stay up to speed on latest local developments in crypto, AI industry and emerging digital payment industry, including updates to regulations. 
•    Serve as one of Visa’s internal and external facing experts on all digital currency, emerging payment products and AI products in the market

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

•12+ years of experience in partnership, business development roles across companies in fintech, payments, Crypto, AI and financial services
•Demonstrated track record of building, managing partnerships including expertise in setting go-to-market strategies and execution, pipelines, managing budgets, generating and scaling revenue, and supporting clients
•Track record and expertise in structuring partnerships and legal agreements or solutions and leading complex solution design and delivery within digital currency or AI
•Ability to successfully build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
•Possess significant functional knowledge of the Digital Currency and/or AI ecosystem and players involved, as well as a deep understanding of existing retail payment solutions, RTP networks and cross border payments
•Experience working with Fintechs, AI Platforms and crypto wallets and exchanges
•Strong problem-solving skills and creativity to identify new opportunities/anticipate how growth products can impact payments ecosystem
•Experience in explaining complex concepts and technologies to an audience of external and internal partners
•Advanced communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
•Strategic, analytical thinker who consistently challenges the status quo and constructively challenges the team to aim for higher ground.
•Previous experience in an product role at a startup or high growth company
•MBA, Masters or advanced degree from a top tier program
