About the role

Palm NFT Studio is looking for a Technical Community Specialist to work on all Developer Community Initiatives. You must be a self starter and willing to work across all aspects of Community at Palm. The ultimate goal is to assist with the development of a unique and robust community around the Palm ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Managing crypto communities on different platforms.
• Passionate about the needs of users in relation to these and communicating related concepts clearly.
• Comprehending blockchain and Ethereum concepts quickly and understanding the user journey from multiple perspectives.
• Working directly with development teams, internal and external, supporting developers on our community chats, supporting events for our community and the operations of our developer engagement program.
• Working with a globally distributed team; collaborating with the Community and Technology Team and Developers that span multiple time zones.
• Working on multiple work streams at once.
• Independently manage multiple tasks and changing priorities will be key to success in this role.
• Working alongside product managers and directly with our user base (generally developers in our community chat channels).
• Identifying key recurring areas of confusion and consolidate this with corresponding content.
• Engaging the community channels with written, visual, or webinars pieces of work.
• Partnering with community contributors on documentation through wikis and other means.

Required skills

• 2+ years of experience within a tech, gaming, or entertainment community
• Experience in customer moderation and support including email, social networks, and forums.
• Able to lease with the members of the community & tech teams to implement strategies to grow and engage the community
• Proactively identify gaps in the documentation and repetitive requests among the community
• Excellent in verbal and written communication, with effective listening and a strong collaborative attitude
• Clear communication and impeccable organizational skills
• Working independently and autonomously, managing multiple priorities

Bonus points

• Experience in organizing online events: hackathons, community calls, AMAs, etc.
• Existing network from a diverse set of communities and social media platforms.
• Experience with Docs as Code workflow
• Experience with source code
• Experience working with a globally distributed team, using tools like Zoom, Slack, Confluence, Jira, and Google Suite
