Blockchain DevOps Engineer

NODE40 is a fast growing blockchain data analytics company catering to the needs of business and retail customers in the cryptocurrency industry with a focus on digital asset lifecycle tracking for thousands of tokens across wallets and exchanges.

If you love solving problems and building really cool things, NODE40 wants to chat with you. NODE40 is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to work with and help grow our blockchain Infrastructure team.

This is a remote position. Your ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate are critical to your success. We use common services including Slack, Google Apps, Jira, and AWS, as well as industry-specific tools built for working with various blockchains.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, improve, maintain, and upgrade blockchain nodes in a scalable and redundant fashion.
• Deploy blockchain nodes and monitor for performance bottlenecks or unusual behavior.
• Develop processes for automated patches and system updates.
• Work with developers to improve NODE40’s blockchain accounting software, NODE40 Balance.
• Learn, then expose blockchain node APIs to internal services that are built to consume data from the nodes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience related to the responsibilities above or comparable AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, etc.)
• Three years of Linux system administration experience
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, CloudFormation, and AutoScaling
• Experience Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
• Experience writing scripts in languages such as Bash or Python
