Venus Labs is hiring a Web3 Business Development and Partnerships Manager
Compensation: $54k - $87k estimated
Location: NY New York US
Venus Protocol is the leading decentralized lending/borrowing platform on the BNB Chain that serves tens of thousands of users and has over $2B in TVL.
The Business Development and Partnerships Manager will report directly to the Marketing Lead to build strong relationships with customers in the DeFi ecosystem. We are looking for a partnerships leader who can help to implement and refine our strategy, drive integrations, and establish commercial and promotional partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive DeFi integration and partnerships program at Venus, to establish Venus as the preferred DeFi Lending/Borrowing platform
- Work with the marketing to develop and operationalize programs for ads, campaigns, and other promotional partnerships
- Find opportunities for expansion and partnerships, as well as strategic partnerships
- Strategize, organize, and launch strategic partnerships & campaigns to expand Venus' reach, grow the protocol user base, and integrate with other leading players in the blockchain space
- 3-5 years of experience in partnerships and/or business development
- You are passionate about crypto and know what's happening in the space
- You have a solid crypto network (protocols, liquidity providers etc.). You have experience developing programs to build, nurture and grow relationships with business and technical leaders
- You have an excellent product and commercial instincts that will help inform our roadmap of products and programs
- You are data-driven and results-oriented, but humble and self-aware
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working in DeFi
- Prior experience working in partnerships/business development for a rapidly scaling company
- Desire to engage with the community to share ideas and gather feedback
- Excited to learn, eat, breathe and sleep crypto
