Web3 Business Relationship Manager

The Pyth Network is a specialized oracle solution for latency-sensitive financial data that is typically kept behind the “walled gardens’’ of centralized institutions. The Pyth Network is focused on finding an efficient scalable way to bring this unique data on-chain and aggregating it securely.

With the network now live in mainnet sourcing from nearly thirty committed data providers across the most prominent trading firms and exchanges, the Pyth team is seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to help manage the existing, but growing, Pyth community.

What you’ll do:

• Lead representative for on-chain consumption of Pyth data and working with blockchain engineers who are interested in using Pyth in some capacity
• Collaborate with the community managers on further expanding Pyth overall engagement, including representation at events, growing social presence, and enhancing the Pyth brand
• Work closely with the technical integration team to help fully onboard data providers onto Pyth mainnet and expand the supported asset classes on the network
• Manage token governance protocols for the data provider community including communicating the models, gathering feedback, and developing a system for monitoring performance
• General oversight on Pyth system performance
• Serve as a point person for the foundation in helping to vet new participants onto the Pyth network
• Other duties as assigned

Skills you’ll need

• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• 5+ years of traditional finance background
• Ability to multi-task, remain composed, and perform under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate efforts and operations between many stakeholders
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate at a high level to a diverse consumer base
• Leadership abilities and a self-starter, with proven experience managing projects and/or other planning-related duties
• A solid understanding of relevant blockchain technology and communities
• Intermediate understanding of technical crypto terminology and components is preferred, at minimum knowledge about decentralized applications (dApps)
• Passionate about the crypto ecosystem and decentralization concepts
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote and global team
• Reliable and predictable availability
