Developer Relations Manager - Blockchain & NFT Accelerator Program

About the Role:

We are looking for a Blockchain Expert to work closely with the Blockchain Program Managers, the Hong Kong Managing Director and other stakeholders across Brinc and our Blockchain Accelerator Teams to drive portfolio value and success.

The Blockchain Expert is critical in providing the necessary expertise for accelerator teams to make well-informed investment decisions and ensure top-class technical Blockchain curriculum is being delivered to founders throughout our programs. The Blockchain Expert will also collaborate with portfolio companies throughout their lifecycle (during and post-program), supporting founders in growth, fundraising and product development.

From sourcing teams to driving investments and even launching new NFT projects, this is a unique opportunity to grow and cultivate a community of entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, mentors, and enthusiasts in Blockchain across Brinc’s global network.

What You Will Do:

• Support Blockchain accelerator program strategy development and operations
• Work collaboratively with Program Directors and Venture Principals to screen potential investments
• Deliver value to Blockchain teams at scale, which could include:
  • Participating in the design, architecture, and implementation of different software components, including smart contracts, frontends, and backends;
  • Playing a central role in the blockchain design, assessing feasibility while conducting cost/benefit analysis for different concepts; and
  • Enforcing appropriate levels of security for managing crypto-assets.
• Help the Brinc team form relevant corporate and mentor partnerships for Blockchain programs
• Support the Brinc team in connecting founders to mentors during the program, while also helping to facilitate relationships post-program
• Build close relationships with Blockchain founders to understand their needs, act as a bridge to potential commercialisation partners, mentors and Brinc services.
• Expand the network of mentors and innovation partners within the Blockchain industry
• Create content and support thought leadership

• A founder or executive from successful, preferably VC-backed, tech startups
• An early-stage investor with previous entrepreneur and operating experience, as well as an interest in deepening exposure to mentorship and portfolio development
• Have a strong professional network of Blockchain investors, mentors and founders, as well as executives and decision-makers with leading companies in finance and financial services
• Knowledge of the complexities of selling into or partnering with enterprises supported by a track record of closing deals and developing long-term relationships at senior leadership levels
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, executive presence, integrity, and service-based leadership
• In-depth understanding of all the technical and functional aspects of blockchains (consensus, security models, tokenomics, etc.) and crypto-wallets (keys management, UX, etc), with a robust knowledge of Ethereum
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go/C++/Rust (code-literacy with one of the Ethereum node implementations) and with Javascript (Web3)
• Experience designing and implementing systems based on blockchain (separation of duties between chain, frontends and backends)
• Experience with Smart-Contracts full development cycle (Solidity) and knowledge of the standards for token contracts (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, etc.)
• Strong experience with UNIX systems (Linux) and Cloud Infrastructures (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Bachelor's Degree or comparable qualification
• Fluent English language skills are a must, other languages a plus
