Full-Stack Blockchain/Web3 Engineer

Endaoment.org is a first-of-it's-kind Community Foundation, federally tax-exempt as a 501(c)(3), serving as the Decentralized Finance industry’s first Philanthropic Institution. Donors have given more than $4m in donations and over $3m in grants to nonprofits. Donors give tax-deductible crypto directly to charity without selling first, while nonprofits get dollars wired directly into their traditional bank account or crypto wallet.

Endaoment.Tech is the technology development company building the software behind Endaoment.org. We’re a venture-backed, remote-first company making technology that makes tax-efficient financial accounts using blockchain technology.

THE ROLE

As a Full-Stack Systems Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing both the react-based front-end and mySQL & Express.js back-end of the Endaoment.org application. We are looking for a seasoned engineer to continue to build out and manage our dev infrastructure & processes. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for managing our relationships with external engineering partners/consultants as needed. You will report directly to and work closely with the CEO.

As a new start up, we’re looking for hard working self-starters who make coming to work everyday enjoyable and fun. You’ll be working on a small team of 5-6 people who make up the entirety of Endaoment.tech and Endaoment.org, reporting directly to the CEO.

• HTML
• mySQL
• Shell
• Email.js
• Node.js
• Infura.io
• Solidity (Ethereum blockchain smart contracts)
• Google Cloud Platform
• APIs (REST, RPC)

What you’ll be working on:

• Manage the back end of Endaoment.org
• Develop Request core infrastructure
• Support front-end applications growth
• Participate in the choices of engineering methodologies, tools and organization
• Work autonomously inside a high performing team
• Working closely with the CEO and COO to manage the SQL database
• Manage Github repository as well as all submitted issues

You’re a great fit if you have:

• Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, databases, distributed systems, operating systems, networking
• Strong knowledge of Typescript, React and Redux
• Understanding of API design & implementation
• Good understanding of git and continuous integration tools
• Self-motivated, innovative and proactive
• Ability to take responsibility for projects and the willingness to learn and grow professionally in a team environment
