The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our agency team, supporting one of our brand clients in the sports space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, communications, and sports culture. You’ll be responsible for driving day-to-day client relationships, leading cross-channel campaigns, and delivering impactful brand storytelling across content, social, and strategic marketing initiatives. This role has the opportunity to upgrade to an Account Director, for interested candidates with 8-10 years of experience. Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary client contact, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring all projects align with client objectives and agency standards
Help develop and support content strategies across social, digital, and event platforms to drive engagement and brand affinity
Manage the ideation, planning, and distribution of content, ensuring tone, voice, and messaging are consistent with brand guidelines
Support the development of brand strategy, including campaign positioning, audience insights, and creative briefing
Collaborate with creative, event, and strategy teams to bring campaigns and activations to life
Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting with actionable insights and recommendations
Anticipate client needs, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to long-term strategic planning
Stay up to date on sports, cultural, and digital media trends to inform innovative brand activations
Qualifications
5-7 years of agency, brand, or sports marketing experience Strong background in marketing communications, social media management, and content development Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering integrated marketing campaigns Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Passion for sports, culture, and brand storytelling
Considerations
Base Salary - $80-100,000+ (based on experience) Hybrid schedule: Office in New York, NY with 3 days in-office (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days remote (Mon & Fri) Open to a fully remote schedule for potential candidates outside the NYC area who have substantial experience, skills, and work ethic
Base Salary represents the salary range that Allied Sports, in good faith, might be willing to pay for this job at the time of this posting. Actual base salary depends on several factors, including market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), and level of responsibility. Allied Sports expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Allied Sports would consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range only in truly exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position.
