As a comprehensive solution for all digital asset strategies from start to scale, FalconX operates as the connective tissue empowering clients with seamless navigation through the ever- evolving cryptocurrency landscape.Senior Cloud Security Engineer Job Summary: As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud-based systems and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our cloud environments, leveraging your expertise in tools such as Terraform, AWS Cloud, Linux systems, Ansible, and scripting. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Security Implementation: - Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud environments. - Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard cloud resources. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): - Utilize Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure. - Ensure compliance with security best practices in IaC deployments. AWS Cloud Management: - Manage and secure AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and more. - Monitor and respond to security incidents within AWS environments. Linux System Administration: - Maintain and secure Linux-based systems and servers. - Implement security patches and updates regularly. Configuration Management: - Use Ansible for configuration management and automation of security tasks. - Develop playbooks to streamline security operations. Scripting and Automation: - Write scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate security processes and enhance efficiency. - Develop custom security tools and utilities as needed. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with DevOps, IT, and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle. - Provide guidance and training on cloud security best practices. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated with the latest cloud security trends and technologies. - Propose and implement improvements to existing security frameworks. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role. - Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS Cloud, Linux systems, Ansible, and scripting languages. - Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. - Experience with security monitoring and incident response in cloud environments. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
