As a key member of our corporate IT and Security team, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting various IT and Security SaaS platforms. Your role will involve implementing best practices to harden these platforms and our endpoint environments, ensuring the highest levels of security and integrity across our systems. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and Support SaaS Applications: Ensure the functionality and security of critical SaaS applications through diligent configuration, ongoing support, and effective troubleshooting, while actively contributing to their improvement by assisting with relevant automation and integration initiatives. Harden Platforms and Endpoints: Implement best practices for hardening cloud platforms and endpoint environments to protect against security threats. This includes applying security measures to SaaS platforms and managed endpoints used across the organization. Automate Lifecycle Management: Enhance and automate employee lifecycle management processes within our identity and access management solutions, ensuring efficient onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning. Review and Optimize Network Security: Assess and improve existing network Access Control Lists (ACLs) and security groups within cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) to strengthen network security and protect against unauthorized access. Automate IT and Cloud Operations: Identify manual or repetitive IT and cloud operational tasks and develop automated solutions using scripting languages or platform-specific automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Administer User Accounts and Policies: Manage user accounts and enforce security policies across various systems to meet organizational security objectives and compliance requirements. Incident Support & Advanced Troubleshooting: Address and resolve escalated, high-impact IT and security challenges in a remote environment, specializing in non-routine problems requiring deep technical investigation to restore service and maintain productivity. Develop Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials for both technical teams and end-users to facilitate knowledge sharing and education.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 12+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, security administration, or cloud support roles, with at least 5+ years of focus in the areas outlined in the responsibilities. SSO/IAM Solutions: Experience managing and configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Okta, EntraID), with a good understanding of protocols like SAML, OIDC, and SCIM. Security Technologies: Experience working with security technologies and concepts such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), VPN/Proxy services, and/or logging/SIEM solutions. Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platform administration and security (e.g., AWS, GCP), including knowledge of best practices for securing cloud infrastructure. (Familiarity with container concepts and security is a plus). MDM Platforms: Experience managing endpoints using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (e.g., JAMF for macOS/iOS or similar). Network Fundamentals: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPNs. Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash) for automating IT tasks. Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform) and version control (e.g., Git) is also required. Independent & Proactive: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment with a proactive, self-motivated mindset. Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal), with a customer-service orientation. Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and address technical challenges.
