About the Role

Senior Gameplay Programmers manage smallteamsof gameplay programmers working in traditional software suites like Unity to bring to life new web3 play-to-earn games built on blockchain technologies. A typical work week will includemanaginga smallteamof developers on a specific web3 gaming project, programming the most difficult aspects of multiplayer cross-platformgames within the Unity suite, and understanding the fine details of integrating economic incentives into web3 games in order to communicate those details to developers.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage ateamof developers from ideation to execution of new web3 play to earn games
• Working in Unity, design and implement the most difficult aspects of multiplayer cross-platformgames
• Collaborate with the blockchainteamdevs to integrate economic incentives into games
• Mitigate security risks by carefully evaluating all game design components for potential currency-related exploits
• Instruct developers on how to set up multiplayer and cross-platformcompatibility frameworks for future games

Required

• Excellent technical ability in theUnitygame development suite
• Portfolio of games created as passion projects or in a company
• Strong knowledge of multiplayer server management and frameworks
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code
• AAA-title company in work experience, with demonstrated management proficiency
• Five or more years of game development experience

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
• Participated in multiple launches of Unity-based multiplayer games
• History of introducing and ideating helpful features in games
• Proficiency in evaluating game ecosystems for currency exploit risks
• Interest and desire to learn more about blockchain technologies
