Web3 Sr. Sales / BD Manager

Compensation: $50k - $100k

Location: India

If you are the kind of person who loves doing Business Development / getting on a sales call and drive business growth by relentless BD, identifying new growth opportunities and not settling for anything less than perfection, loves writing business proposals and love high throughput environment, Polysynth is the right place for you.

Ideal background will be someone with 2-3 years of trading desk experience at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley etc, or has worked as BD / Quant Researcher at HFT firm and has a good grasp on both technical and business understanding of derivatives and structured products.

About Us: Polysynth is multi-chain, decentralized and permissionless platform for anyone to create and trade derivatives and advanced crypto-financial products such as perpetual futures and option vaults. Our early backers include Jump Capital, LedgerPrime, QCP, Polygon, Alliance, Hashed and angels such as Sandeep Nailwal and Alan Howard.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for volume growth through B2B partnerships
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Identify potential partners and develop deep relationships with them, while maintaining existing relationships
  • Influence partnerships through strong business proposals
  • Increasing the value of current partners while attracting new ones.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate terms with partners and communicate them to stakeholders
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Developing goals for the team development and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training and helping team members develop their skills.

Pre-requisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree or more from reputed university with 2-3 year work experience in derivatives / structured products desk
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing grant quality proposals
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Your First 30 Days

In your first 10 days, you will get acclimatized to Polysynth, the team and our culture:

  • During the first two days, you will be immersed in an onboarding program that introduces you to the company and the product.
  • Spend time reading and discussing about web3, DeFi, Perps, DOVs etc
  • Be introduced to everyone you will need to know in order to be successful in your role.
  • Understanding current partnerships and shadowing Sr. Management in BD / Partnership Calls

In your first 20 days, you will become a valuable member of the team:

  • Connect with our partners and strategize on leveraging their strength to grow the business
  • Identify new partners and set up introduction meetings
  • Understand the protocol and product level nuances with competitive landscaping

In your first 30 days, you will continue to increase your influence:

  • Develop comprehensive business growth strategy, budget and hire for key open positions
  • Get on weekly partners calls, review progress and reinforce business alignment
  • Onboard new partners and start hitting bi-weekly revenue targets
