We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Manual QA Tester to join our growing QA team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our applications meet the highest quality standards by designing test plans, executing manual test cases, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. This is a 6-month contract with possibility for extension. Full-time is not available for this role.  WHAT YOU WILL DO

Write test cases in Testrail Perform thorough manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or similar Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Provide detailed and actionable feedback to developers and product teams Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

4+ years of experience in manual software testing Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience testing REST APIs, web applications, and mobile applications Proficient with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team - needs to be available for UTC(−05:00) hours for meetings, but can work async outside of this

Hourly Rate: $30 to $37 (**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)
