Project Manager, Security

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer science or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a software project manager
  • At least 3 years of experience in Agile project management
  • Extensive experience working with JIRA
  • Experience working with developers.
  • Familiarity with common security controls
  • Proven leadership ability including effective problem solving skills and ability to facilitate communication between team members.
  • Effective skills at tracking effort and project progress.
  • PMP certificate is highly desired
  • Security certifications are preferred
  • Experience in vulnerability management lifecycle
  • Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiar with NIST, ISO 27000 is preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding the security needs and goals of Dev teams
  • Develop detailed project plan that integrates with Sprints
  • Run project huddles
  • Track the progress and productivity of security teams
  • Work with engineers to decide on the amount of time needed to finish tasks
  • Maintain an appropriate level of quality in security system development and configuration.
  • Facilitate efficient communication across all levels of a project to ensure consistency in reaching the project's goal, and to help in the recognition of any potential opportunities, risks or complications.
  • Stay current with any advances or changes in equipment, technology and methodology.
  • Report team progress to management in a form of weekly report
