The BitGo Prime team is a dynamic, high performing group that provides critical operational service to our institutional trading, lending, and borrowing clients in partnership with our Trust custody and compliance entity; global account managers and salespeople; and finance and accounting. Our extended unit consists of a diverse group of trading, lending, and KYC/AML professionals with extensive backgrounds in traditional and crypto-finance, including front, middle, and back office.

The Prime Operations/Client Service Analyst will work for BitGo’s Prime unit in Sioux Falls, SD and be responsible for performing operations tasks related to BitGo Prime’s cryptocurrency trading and lending services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor client trading-related activity in a variety of crypto and fiat currencies
• Calculate and anticipate funding requirements
• Monitor settlement platform and troubleshoot any issues
• Front-line contact for operations-related issues and enquiries
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting for internal stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients’ operations areas
• Initiate and manage asset transfers to ensure timely payments and receipts through the business day
• Identify, analyze, and resolve account reconciliation issues
• Lead process improvements: recognize gaps, recommend improvements, and help implement new processes
• Assist the Prime client service team with on-boarding new counterparties
• Provide first-class service to external counterparties and internal stakeholders
• Will need to work EST

• Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to effectively interact with others in a pleasant, professional manner
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand assets flows and procedures
• Must have previous middle or back-office experience in a financial environment. Trading, stock loan, FX experience is a plus.
• Experience managing and interacting with clients is key
• Comfortably manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, dynamic start-up environment
• Hands-on Excel or Google Sheets experience; macro programming exposure is a plus
• Genuine interest in financial services and cryptocurrency; crypto experience professionally or personally is a plus
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
