CertiK is seeking candidates with a strong system security background to join a top-notch security research team. We are working on all aspects of security in both web2 and web3 systems, especially those emerging and fast developing blockchain ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Review system implementation of sandbox, VM, network modules, and critical distributed system.
• Perform vulnerability discovery and develop PoC exploits to large distributed system implementations.
• Develop analysis tools to facilitate security discovery and design mitigation techniques to deter security threats.
• Attend and present security research outcomes in top industrial and academic security conferences.

Requirements

• Ability to independently analyze system code from the scratch with or without source code.
• Strong knowledge of system software, OS kernels, and common security mitigation techniques.
• Experiences in vulnerability discovery and exploitation on system software.
• Experiences in TEE (Intel SGX, Arm TrustZone) research and development is a plus
• Experiences in WASM or Rust/Go development is also a plus
• CTF experiences are a plus as well.

Target annual salary for this role performed in the US is $140,000 - $220,000. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills and experience of qualified candidates.
