About the Role The Social and Community Lead will drive Figure Markets’ social presence and community engagement strategy. Initially an individual contributor role, this position will manage the day-to-day operations of social channels (Twitter, Telegram, etc.), with the potential to build and lead a small team as the brand and community grow. The successful candidate is adept at creating consistent, high-quality content for “serious” corporate channels but can also weave in crypto-native language and trends to engage retail investors and enthusiasts. What You'll Do

Social Media Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute a social media calendar for Twitter and other relevant channels. Post 1–3 pieces of original content per day on Twitter, aligning with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. Create copy that translates complex crypto offerings into clear messaging for retail audiences.

Community Engagement & Growth

Own the Telegram community channel: organize moderators, respond to queries, and strategize ways to keep engagement high. Foster a welcoming environment where both experienced and novice crypto users feel supported. Monitor sentiment and feedback across social platforms, surfacing issues or trends to relevant internal teams.

Brand Voice & Messaging

Maintain a professional and compliance-friendly tone while still staying relevant to crypto culture. Evolve brand guidelines as necessary, ensuring consistency across social, blog, and community platforms.

Data-Driven Insights

Track performance metrics: growth, engagement, sentiment, and conversions. Use metrics to refine content strategy and better target specific audience segments (e.g., US retail, global retail, institutional, etc.).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Marketing, and PR teams to align social messaging with broader company objectives. Coordinate with Compliance and Legal to ensure all social and community content adheres to regulatory guidelines.

Team Development

Participate in long-term planning for the Social & Community department. As the community and brand initiatives expand, hire, mentor, and manage junior team members and/or community moderators.

Required Qualifications

Social Media Track Record

Proven experience growing and managing corporate social media channels, ideally in finance or similarly “serious” sectors. Portfolio or metrics showcasing channel growth, increased engagement, and effective brand positioning.

Crypto Fluency

Deep understanding of crypto-specific language, meme culture, market trends, and regulatory nuances. Comfort crafting messages that resonate with both crypto-native retail investors and newcomers.

Community Management Experience

Hands-on Telegram (or similar platform) management of at least one sizable community. Ability to handle real-time feedback loops, moderate discussions, and troubleshoot conflicts tactfully.

Strong Copywriting Skills

Competent in drafting daily social posts independently without heavy oversight. Capable of tailoring complex concepts (e.g., stablecoins, tokenomics, mortgage-lending in crypto) into digestible messages.

Analytical Mindset

Familiarity with social analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native Twitter/Telegram analytics). Ability to convert raw data into actionable insights that guide content creation and audience segmentation.

Strategic Thinking & Adaptability

Able to balance short-term posting requirements with long-term brand-building objectives. Willingness to pivot based on shifting market conditions and user feedback.

Team Leadership Potential

Interest in growing into a managerial role; ability to mentor and develop junior contributors. Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Muted Brand Experience

Familiar with regulated industries, such as finance, healthcare, or insurance, where compliance shapes content.

Knowledge of On-Chain Analytics

Basic familiarity with reading blockchain data or using analytics platforms to inform marketing efforts is a plus.
