What you'll be responsible for:

• Lead the planning, designing and development of manual testing, automation/load testing tools and methodologies
• Analyzing and understanding HQ product’s environment, architecture, and interdependencies to determine and apply appropriate test methodologies and test cases relative to the functionality being tested
• Design, develop, and execute reusable and maintainable automation scripts; plans and executes functional and system level testing of functionality across all platforms to test various features; applies expertise in understanding issues that may arise around automated/load testing and assists in researching and providing solutions and to add, modify, or enhance previously recorded automated scripts
• Assist developers in reproducing problems and getting them resolved
• Participate in design activity with the product team on UX and technical aspects relating to testing, including functional specifications, design parameters, feature enhancements, and alternative solutions
• Actively support and provide guidance on the company's software engineering and test processes, procedures, standards and customer use cases
• Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights
• Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers and Designers and other departments (operations, support and IT)
• Keep technically abreast of trends and advancements within area of specialization, incorporating these improvements where applicable; attends technical conferences as appropriate

What you'll bring:

• 3-6 years expertise in Software testing
• A solid understanding of product lifecycles as well as how technical systems work and interact
• Solid understanding of test repository or defect tracking systems
• Solid understanding of how various systems and applications interact
• Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Expertise in Manual UI testing of Web Applications, and familiarity with API
• Ability to comfortably and effectively discuss the tradeoffs and benefits of various approaches with engineering partners and product managers
• Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive
• Ability to work both independently and on a fast-paced team
• Intellectual interest in digital assets/distributed networks and how they will reshape global finance
