The Workplace Technical Services Manager at Ledger will oversee the technical operations of our facilities, with a primary focus on the newly inaugurated headquarters at 106 Rue du Temple. This role ensures the seamless integration of building systems, emphasizes security, and fosters collaboration across Workplace, People, and Security teams to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Your mission:

Technical infrastructure management:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and IT infrastructure, ensuring they meet operational standards.
- Implement and manage building automation systems to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Security and safety oversight:
- Collaborate with the Security team to develop and enforce protocols that safeguard the facility and its occupants.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.

Project management:
- Lead technical projects related to facility upgrades, renovations, and new installations, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors, overseeing their work to meet Ledger's quality standards.

Cross-functional collaboration:
- Work closely with Workplace Operations, People, and Security teams to align technical services with organizational goals and employee needs.
- Support event setups and other organizational initiatives by providing technical expertise and resources.

Budget and resource management:
- Develop and manage budgets for technical services, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Maintain an inventory of technical assets, planning for replacements and upgrades as needed.

Continuous improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements that enhance facility operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for technical services, ensuring consistency and efficiency.


What we’re looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing technical services within a corporate environment, preferably in the technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, workplace technologies, and infrastructure management.
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiarity with safety and security protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that Ledger's facilities, particularly the new headquarters, operate efficiently and securely, providing a conducive environment for all employees.
