Neon Labs is looking for a Lead Technical Business Analyst to guide our requirements gathering and ensure the alignment of new software and systems with business goals. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, producing detailed technical documentation, and enhancing our content and systems through continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage both the documentation strategy and the information architecture to support our technical and business objectives.

Your Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the requirements gathering process, working closely with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to understand and document business needs and technical specifications.
- Oversee the design and implementation of new software and systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical specifications.
- Produce, prepare, review, revise, and maintain high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience, including: user guides, integration guides, developer guides, API guides, In platform documentation, and technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing.
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
- Create and maintain the information architecture.
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancing business processes and system functionality.
Skills and Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Proven working experience in business analyses of software documentation required in an IT development environment.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts, analyse it and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and API.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Jira / Confluence or Notion / Git & Github/ Google Analytics and similar.
- Familiarity with the SDLC and software development.
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
- Experience creating infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, workflows, graphs, etc.
- Strong organisational skills, detail orientation and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines.
- Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
- Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference.
- Excellent/Fluent verbally, written, and proofreading skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience in the FinTech and blockchain industry.
- Understanding of DApps architecture and ways of working with them, NFT, DAO, Tokens, Tokenomic models.
- Experience working with open-source projects.
