As Optimism Foundation’s first Delegate Relations hire you will be the main point-of-contact and mastermind behind building relationships and managing communication with our group of delegates. Optimism Foundation’s delegates are responsible for representing our community at large, staying up to date on key governance proposals and community sentiment.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Set up and maintain a “CRM” and workflow for managing communication touch-points with all Optimism delegates
- Establish clear order of operations for communications, governance and new voting cycles
- Act as a relationship manager—establishing 1:1 relationships with key delegates and ensuring that we have a strong feedback loop between the Foundation and our community representatives
- Work in partnership with our Community Lead to organize community calls centered around governance
- Solicit feedback (both quantitative and qualitative data) from delegates—suggest and oversee improvements to delegate relations as necessary
What skills do you bring?
- Strong passion for RetroPGF and crypto governance—previous participation in governance communities required
- Professional experience in high-profile stakeholder management (e.g. managing donor relationships at a non-profit, etc.)
- Experience building robust operational systems from scratch
- Experience in remote relationship management and community management
