This job is closed

Parity Technologies builds core infrastructure to power a better internet—one that respects the freedom and data of individuals—and to empower developers to create better services through decentralized tech. Parity’s technologies include Substrate, a flexible framework for building blockchains, and Polkadot, a protocol for connecting and securing blockchains.

The Team

The developer relations team aspires to accelerate the growth of the Polkadot developer community, by empowering and inspiring developers around the world to build the next generation of web technology. We would like you to join us.

The Position

We have compiled a list of some of our activities and the skills that we think will make you successful here, but we sincerely hope you will apply even if you don’t feel you are a perfect fit. We would like the opportunity to make that determination ourselves, and if we don’t feel like you will be happy in this role we promise to part as friends.

Please also note that we value professional development and well-measured experimentation, so the scope of this position will evolve as our shared goals evolve. We are looking for people that are excited to go on this adventure with us and enjoy new challenges.

Long lists right? That’s not even all of it, and there probably aren’t many people that could honestly say they have all of these skills. Where you see an opportunity to grow we see an opportunity to grow with you, and we’re excited to hear about how and why you feel you would find purpose and joy here.

We’re remote-first and we measure our success with results. We don’t care when or where you work (although we do have 3 hubs in Europe). We hope that autonomy will inspire and drive you.

It should also be mentioned that this role will require some travel, and while we want you to decide how much time you can comfortably spend on the road, if the answer is none this may not be a fit.

We are going on a grand adventure and we would love to have you join us. Please reach out with any questions, we can’t wait to meet you.
