We are headquartered in San Francisco, and this role will be in-person with the rest of the Nexus team.

Head of Product

As Head of Product at Nexus, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Nexus Product roadmap. You will work in close partnership with the CEO and collaborate across our R&D, Security, Brand, Marketing, and Business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategist: Influence and drive the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, engineering capacity, and evolving market trends.

  • Trusted Partner: Serve as a liaison between leadership, engineering, business, and marketing functions to enable frictionless roadmap execution.

  • Mentor & Develop Talent: Build, lead, and coach a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and accountability.

  • Product Development: Map, unify and own the end-to-end user experience, from idea validation through launch, ensuring timely delivery and impact.

  • User Research: Engage deeply with developers, enterprises, and consumers to understand pain points and shape product features that address real user needs.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Develop and leverage analytics to track performance and user behavior, optimizing features for engagement and growth.

  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to define requirements and ensure high-quality execution.

  • Market & Ecosystem Engagement: Work closely with ecosystem partners to drive product adoption, foster integrations, and expand market reach.

Requirements

  • Product Experience: Impressive track record of successfully shipping 0 → 1 products, including identifying product market fit, defining product strategies, and executing new initiatives, ideally within consumer and/or developer-facing domains.

  • Influence: Strong executive presence with the ability to drive critical decisions across all levels of the organization.

  • Execution & Impact: Demonstrated success launching exceptional products in fast-paced startup environments, with a focus on speed, quality, and results.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams on highly technical products.

  • Hands-on Leader: Proven success building, leading, and retaining top-performing product teams. Passionate about being hands-on throughout the entire product lifecycle—from inception and design to execution and launch.

  • Collaboration: Adept at quickly building trust and fostering alignment across cross-functional teams.

  • Education: Strong technical background is a must.

  • Successful product leadership experience in both high-growth startup environments and internet-scale enterprises.
