We’re looking for Software Engineers to join our Core Services team. You’ll strike a balance between forward-looking software engineering best practices and engineering infrastructure know-how. The group aims to create unique customer value through experiences that differentiate Chainalysis and make it greater than the sum of its parts. We make it easier and faster for teams to build great products, with highly leveraged building blocks that can be used everywhere. 

In this role, you’ll:

  • Build cloud-native data ingest and aggregation processes that intake gigabytes of data per day

  • Add features to our product suite that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioral patterning, and more 

  • Build a scalable API service on AWS that handles up to 1000 requests per second

  • Help modernize our tech stack to a streaming architecture

  • Debug production issues across multiple systems and microservices

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • A solid technical background with at least  2+ years of experience working directly on backend systems/ projects

  • Designed and implemented microservices-based systems in a major cloud provider like AWS or GCP.

  • Have a bias to ship and iterate alongside product management and design partners

  • Have experience with object-oriented programming languages. We mostly use Java but appreciate a variety of languages! 

  • Take great pride in materializing product ideas through production

Nice to have Experience:

  • Exposure to or interest in the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem

  • Experience working with different blockchain technologies is a plus

  • Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes is a plus!
