As an engineering team lead, your responsibilities will include everything from organizing work together with products for your team, architecting solutions to complex problems, to mentoring other engineers in your team.
What you'll be doing
- You'll be actively involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from brainstorming ideas to evaluating product success using data and customer feedback
- Architecting and implementing cutting-edge features together with your team
- Helping to develop and implement cross-team engineering best-practices
- Creating opportunities for engineers to thrive and succeed
- Mentoring other engineers through knowledge sharing and tech sessions
- Driving forward the developer experience by contributing to internal tools and processes
- Being responsible and accountable for creating and tracking team OKRs
What you'll bring
- 7+ years working in engineering with at least 2 years in a position of leadership (hiring, coaching, and mentoring team members)
- Practical experience working with ReactJS, Node.JS, Postgres, OpenAPI
- DevOps experience with tools such as GitLab CI, Terraform, AWS, Docker, or similar tools
- Practical experience with following Agile methodologies
- Strong English communication skills
